Working principle of rod mill:The material is grinded into the cylinder through hollow shaft neck, and various diameter grinding media are installed inside the cylinder. When the cylinder revolves around a horizontal axis at a certain speed, the medium and raw material installed in the cylinder, under the action of centrifugal force and friction, are thrown down as the cylinder reaches a certain height because of its own gravity, and the Falling Abrasive will crush the material in the barrel like the projectile. The material is made of the feeding device through the hollow shaft of the feed into the first silo of the mill. There are stepped lining or corrugated lining in the silo, with different specifications of steel ball in it. The cylinder is rotated to produce centrifugal force to drop the ball to a certain height and produce heavy blow and grinding to the material. After rough grinding, the material enters the second storehouse through a single storehouse board. It has a flat lining plate and a steel ball, which further grinds the material. The grated material is discharged through the hollow neck.
